A Little Bit About Ella Announcements
Ella Announcements is run by Amanda, mum to three young children, and another due in October 2010.
"I stumbled upon the idea of Ella Announcements when trying to find a way to stay at home with my children, whilst engaging my brain in something a little more stimulating than baby tv programmes. With Ella (2004), Joey (2006) and Isabel (2007), funding childcare was not an option. Instead, I went about setting up my own little business doing something I loved, graphic design... with the added benefit of being able to work with customers gorgeous squishy cheeked and chunky thighed babies!
I am very excited to have now expanded the website to include wedding stationery and business design. I could never have dreamt that this could be so successful, and I would like to thank all of my customers past and present for helping to turn my dreams into this!"

Ella Announcements is run from Amanda's home in Coventry, where she juggles everything from designing and emailing, to hoovering and laundry, with several lunch stops, nappy changes and school runs inbetween. This website is truly by parents for parents.
In September 2009, Ella Announcements received was Highly Commended in the BT Home Business Award at the Remote Worker Awards, and Amanda also walked away as the winner of the Vivid Green Award, landing her with a luxury garden office from Vivid Green, and making her much envied by all at the event. She has also been shortlisted for awards such as the Young Woman Entrepreneur at Women on their Way 2010 and The Climb Award at It's a Woman's World 2010.

Another new project for Amanda is the You Can Shine project, aimed at empowering teenage mums and proving to society that not all young parents are as useless as is portrayed.
